Everything After School: Round Table Discussion

Running and after school program is a balancing act. Often, we get so caught up with daily logistics that we lack the space to work on strategy.

This round table aims to bring those coordinating or developing these programs together to swap "notes from the field". We'll talk about the structure of our programs, managing parent and organisational expectations and balancing a high standard of care with pedagogical value.

Intended Impact: Break the isolation of the role and build a collective within the AGIS community. To share best-practices and gain new perspectives on current problems or hurdles.

Ideal both for those working in a coordinators role, and leaders currently developing after school programs.

Themes: development, sharing best practices, child protection after school, content, instructors, supervision, parent expectations, communication, community engagement.
