AGIS Conference 2026 Potsdam
Working Together To Support Learning
Sunday September 20, 2026 9:00am - 10:00am CEST
In this session, we will explore how different types of games can be used in the classroom.  My examples will be specific to TOK, though there is likely connections to be made to other subjects as well.  At the end of the session, attendees will be given an opportunity to share any successful games from their lessons as well.

Here are the games and their connection to learning:
  • Two modern hobby board games to understand scientific thinking methods
  • A murder mystery game to investigate perspectives
  • A game of charades with a twist to think from different perspectives
  • A digital escape room game as review activity
  • Blooket online as a higher level review tool
