This workshop will introduce teachers to podcasting in the classroom. Podcasting provides opportunities for students to develop communication, research, and critical thinking skills while working on a creative and authentic product.

What to expect:
- Breakdown of the key stages of a classroom podcast project
- Examples of a range student work from simple narrative storytelling to more complex investigative or interview-based episodes
- Examples of learning experiences that develop the necessary podcasting skills
- Hands-on time with some of the technical tools
- Anecdotes from my experience teaching podcasting

Outcomes:
- Overview of the stages of a podcast production and an idea for how to get a project started in your own classroom
- List of teaching resources for podcasting
- Familiarity with some of the technical skills involved in podcasting
- Hopefully inspire you to try podcasting in your own classes
