About me
Thank you for visiting my profile! I hope you enjoy the conference and that you will consider coming to my session or finding me for a chat.My favorite parts of the conference are connecting with old friends and new, learning from each other, helping people find their way around, and enjoying all that this hotel has to offer!I got my start in education teaching High School German in the US, and then taught Math and Science at an international school in Neuss, Germany. I have been at ISD for 18 years, where in the past I have taught German, Outdoor Learning in grades 2-5 and in Reception (3-4 year olds), and Music and Movement across the early years groups. This school year I am teaching German. I have been ISD’s school rep for the AGIS conference for four years. I grew up in Virginia in the US and have been in the Düsseldorf area for about twenty years. I also spent a year in Rheinland Pfalz on a teaching exchange. My wife and I live in Düsseldorf with our two children (age 9 and 13). When I am not at work, I like to cook, practice yoga, play music (guitar, bass, and ukulele), and spend time with family and friends.
