About me
With over 20 years of experience in the classroom, I bring a deep understanding of students, learning and the everyday realities of school life to my role as Pastoral Leader at the City Campus of Bavarian International School. My journey into pastoral leadership grew from a desire to support students beyond academics- helping them navigate the social, emotional and relational challenges that are such an important part of their development. In recent years, I have embraced the Positive Discipline approach, which has profoundly shaped the way I work with students and colleagues. I am passionate about guiding young people to better understand their emotions, recognise how these influence their choices and develop the skills they need to manage conflict and make positive decisions.Alongside my work with students, I greatly enjoy collaborating with colleagues. Whether facilitating staff meetings or supporting teams in problem-solving, I am committed to fostering a culture of trust, teamwork and shared responsibility. I believe that when educators feel supported and connected, they are better able to create environments where every student experiences a strong sense of belonging and significance. At the heart of my work is a simple belief: thriving school communities are built through connection, understanding, and a shared commitment to growth- for both students and adults alike.
