My name is Jayashree Sahoo. I hold a B.Sc. (Honours) in Physics with Chemistry and Mathematics. I am a qualified Mathematics and Science teacher with nine years of teaching experience in both public and private schools in India.After moving to the beautiful city of Hamburg, I joined the International School of Hamburg in 2006 as a Science Laboratory Assistant. Since 2013, I have been working as a Science Laboratory Technician and Science Safety Officer at the school. I also serve as the Official Radiation Protection Officer, ensuring safe laboratory practices and compliance with safety regulations.In 2013, I also pursued further academic development by attending the first year of the M.Sc. program in Mathematical Physics at the University of Hamburg.Since 2022, I have been working as Substitute Teacher Coordinator.Beyond my professional work, I enjoy dancing, playing badminton, watching suspense movies, and meeting new people.I come from a family with a strong scientific background. My husband is a particle physicist who has worked at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre in Mumbai and at DESY in Hamburg.
