Raised across two continents, Andrea brings a global perspective and deep appreciation for cultural diversity to her work in education.
During her teacher training, Andrea collaborated with educational publishers to develop innovative English-language learning materials for German primary schools. She has now been an educator for over 20 years, teaching students from Grades 1 through 10 and cultivating engaging, student-centered learning environments.
Andrea has been part of the International School of Stuttgart community for two decades, serving in a variety of roles including PYP homeroom teacher, German teacher, and now Assistant Principal for Learning. In her current leadership position, she also coordinates the PYP and MYP programmes, drawing on her extensive classroom experience to support pedagogical excellence and innovation across the school.
A committed contributor to the wider international education community, Andrea has presented at conferences such as AGIS and ECIS, sharing insights on a range of educational topics. She is passionate about inspiring both students and educators, and is dedicated to fostering meaningful, future-focused learning experiences.
