About me
Over a 35-year career in education, I have worked at five international schools, each in a different country. Originally from Brazil, my career in international education began in Rio de Janeiro and has included the past 22 years at the Bavarian International School.
After joining BIS as a science and biology teacher, I moved into Learning Support and have spent the past 10 years supporting students in Grades 11 and 12. This combination of subject teaching and Learning Support, together with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a master’s degree in Special Educational Needs, has given me a broad perspective on curriculum, inclusion, and the diverse needs of learners in international schools.
Outside school, I enjoy reading, nature photography, and Reformer Pilates, and hope to become a certified Pilates instructor.
