Schools were built for a world of stable labor markets and linear pathways, not the one our students are inheriting. Drawing on the OECD Learning Compass 2030, UNESCO, and current global risk research, this session identifies eight interconnected challenges shaping the next two decades and the small core of transfer skills (systems thinking, critical reasoning, ethical reasoning, civic agency) that address them all. Participants leave with one concrete entry point for their own school.
Participants will leave with:
- A map of the eight global challenges and the transfer-skill core that connects them
- A line from the NEASC Framework for High-Quality Learning to classroom-level design
- One concrete entry point for their own school
