Creating Creators: How Schools Can Teach Business, Money and Entrepreneurial Mindsets

Schools do an excellent job preparing students for exams, university applications, and academic success, but far fewer intentionally teach the skills needed to understand money, spot opportunities, think entrepreneurially, and create value in the real world. This interactive workshop explores how schools can begin to close that gap. In this highly interactive workshop, we explore how business thinking, financial intelligence, and entrepreneurial mindset can be introduced in age-appropriate, engaging, and playful ways across the school journey. Through practical examples, discussion, and a hands-on experience with our entrepreneurship game, participants will discover how to move students from passive consumers to confident creators, builders, and future-ready decision-makers. This session is designed to spark fresh thinking, challenge traditional assumptions about “future readiness,” and provide practical inspiration for educators and school leaders looking to strengthen real-world learning in their schools.
Intended Outcomes: Participants will:

explore why business literacy, financial intelligence, and entrepreneurial thinking are becoming essential elements of future-ready education;
discover practical, age-appropriate ways to introduce these themes in school settings;
experience how play-based and experiential learning can make business and money concepts more accessible, engaging, and relevant for students;
leave with concrete ideas for helping students develop initiative, problem-solving, opportunity recognition, and value-creation mindsets.
